As the Digital Brand Leader for the Design team, I was a key contributor to the Truist Design System. I collaborated closely with the Truist Design System Director to ensure the system components were following brand guidelines both visually and in use behaviors and patterns.
Over a 3 year period, the Truist Design System evolved from solely supporting the Authenticated/digital banking platforms to a mature system capable of integration with Web, Angular and IOS and Android development platforms.

The Public Sites
Platform UI Kit
I directed a team of 22 UI, Motion, and UX Designers on the Public Sites platform. My Public Sites Design Manager partnered with our Lead UI Designer to explore design patterns for and maintain the platform’s UI Kit.
As the Sr. Director over the platform, I guided the grid, tokens and components in the public site system towards supporting uniquely-Web characteristics for the brand’s expression: increased spacing, larger sizing, and an expanded color palette.
The kit was used by any internal or contracted studio teams for designing for Truist.com and Truist affiliate sites. All design teams at Truist initially used Adobe XD, yet migrated to Figma within the first year post launch.
